Kaikki tekniset laadut t\u00e4ytt\u00e4v\u00e4t teokset kuvataan kilpailun ulkopuolella ja kuvattu video l\u00e4hetet\u00e4\u00e4n osallistujille. T\u00e4m\u00e4 koskee my\u00f6s teoksia, jotka eiv\u00e4t ole mukana varsinaisessa tapahtumassa. Teokset l\u00e4hett\u00e4neet taiteilijat voivat k\u00e4ytt\u00e4\u00e4 kuvattua videoa esim. referenssin\u00e4 portfoliossaan.<\/p>\n

1. J\u00e4rjest\u00e4j\u00e4 saa tarvittaessa tehd\u00e4 pieni\u00e4 muutoksia teokseen, jotta se sopii videomappaamiseen. (L\u00e4hinn\u00e4 s\u00e4\u00e4t\u00e4\u00e4 videon valotusta, kirkkautta, kontrastia ja \u00e4\u00e4nen volyymia jne.).\u00a0<\/p>\n

2. Esitt\u00e4\u00e4 ja k\u00e4ytt\u00e4\u00e4 osallistuneita teoksia tai niiden osia, omilla some-kanavillaan, Youtubessa ja muussa tapahtuman markkinoinnissa.\u00a0<\/p>\n

3. Kuvata tapahtumaan osallistuneita teoksista, ja esitt\u00e4\u00e4 ja k\u00e4ytt\u00e4\u00e4 kuvattua materiaalia omilla some-kanavillaan, Youtubessa ja muussa tapahtuman markkinoinnissa.\u00a0<\/p>\n

4. J\u00e4rjest\u00e4j\u00e4 saa tarvittaessa sijoittaa omia ja sponsoreiden logoja teosten alkuun ja\/-tai loppuun tapahtuman aikana ja tapahtumaan liittyv\u00e4ss\u00e4 markkinoinnissa.\u00a0<\/p>\n

5. Kilpailuun osallistuvat teokset eiv\u00e4t saa olla kuvaston tai Teoston (tai muiden vastaavien) alaisia.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Mapsion is an international video mapping competition, with its opening event taking place on October 25, 2025, in Jyv\u00e4skyl\u00e4.<\/p>\n

The competition works will be on display daily from October 25 to November 16, 2025, between 6 PM and 9 PM.<\/p>\n

TeamName_title_country<\/p>\nThe content and technical parameters of the contest entry shall be verified by the Organizer.
\nThe 10 (or more) contest entries approved shall be displayed at the venue of the Contest.
\nThe Organizer leaves the right to deny the contestant without any explanation.
\nAll the qualified videos shall be projected outside of the venue and filmed by the organizer, and send back for the artist for use as a reference for the future.\n

The Contest Jury<\/strong><\/h4>\nThe Jury is formed by the Organizer to evaluate the Contestants.
\nThe Jury consists of prominent experts and professionals in several art fields from Finland. The decision shall be announced at the end of the award ceremony.\n

The contest entries shall not be reviewed or returned.<\/p>\n

Information related to the board of judges, executive committee and other participants of the MAPSION Festival will be available on its official web sources.<\/p>\n

1st place – 2500\u20ac<\/p>\n

Information on filling out the application and contest stages<\/strong><\/h4>\nBy October 10, 2025 (before 23:59, CET+2) – fill out the application form and send us a presentation and downloadable link to your work. Include 3 high resolution pictures of you work and your Instagram handle.

\nThe following rights shall be granted to the Organizer:\n

1. Make changes in the contest entry upon his discretion to best suit the screening process, namely adjusting brightness, contrast, color tone, volume control, etc.<\/p>\n

2. To demonstrate the contest entry at selected venues, broadcast any related materials on TV and online platforms both in Finland and abroad over an indefinite period of time to promote the event.<\/p>\n

3. To record videos or take photos of the contest entry preserving the rights to any such videos or photos, to use them in part or in full for media coverage or promotion purposes, and to store them over an indefinite period of time.<\/p>\n

4. To place the Contest\/Festival logo, name or other credentials in any contest entry upon its submission.<\/p>\n

5. To use the contest entry in full or in part by any means chosen without the Contestant’s consent for media coverage and promotion purposes by the Organizer, sponsors and any authorized party.<\/p>\n

The Contestant remains the sole copyright holder to the contest entry submitted and guarantees his\/her consent to any of the above.<\/p>\n

Contest Rules and Prohibitions<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The Contestant shall comply to the following:<\/p>\n

1. Use contest official materials for creating your artwork.<\/p>\n

2. The contest entry needs to follow technical parameters and it needs to be submitted before the deadline.<\/p>\n

3. All the damages or errors in the contest entry are not directly eliminated, but contestant is asked to fix the errors with Organizer’s help.<\/p>\n

4. The materials submitted contain no discrimination, messages of political, religious, racial or any other nature.<\/p>\n

5. No copyright or other rights of the third party are violated. The Contestant is not involved in any dispute related to such violation. In the event of any dispute, the Contestant shall solely bear all the responsibility for its settlement, including all the fees and charges incurred.<\/p>\n

6. The content of the contest entry shall be adopted given the peculiarities of the audience for the people of all ages could enjoy the Contest\/Festival.<\/p>\n

7. Any contest entry violating any rights of the third party shall be disqualified, its award or prize, if any, shall be deemed void and returned.<\/p>\n
